The sponsorship will last four years starting on July 1st, 2006. The £34 million contract includes a £1.5 million contribution to the Tottenham community to help young people of the area.
Mansion will become the fourth brand to appear on the shirt, since sponsorship was allowed 25 years ago. This agreement has become one of the largest for club sponsorships.
Tottenham chairman, Daniel Levy said: “We are delighted to count on Mansion as our new partner. The progress the club has made meant that we were able to take under consideration several potential sponsorship deals. Mansion represented the best one. We share similar ambitions to grow and to extend our brands; we have already discussed some ideas to achieve them together. We are thrilled about working with Mansion and keen to accelerate the international development of our club”.
David Kinsman, Chief Operating Officer for Mansion, said: "We have been looking to secure a major Premier League deal. We looked at five or six Clubs before focusing on Tottenham Hotspurs. This Club has a long and successful history, great traditions and a wonderful brand, both in the UK and internationally. We see this deal as an excellent opportunity to play a major part in the ongoing international development of both MANSION and Tottenham Hotspurs throughout the next 4 years."
