Missouri’s Gaming Regulator Resigns
CEO of Missouri’s Gaming Commission announced his resignation
Kevin P. Mullally, CEO of Missouri’s Gaming Commission for the last 5 years, has decided to resign. According to Mullally, he will resign next month to be able to accept a position as a General Council and Governmental Affairs Director for Gaming Laboratories International Inc., a company established in New Jersey that runs laboratory tests on casino equipment such as slots and Lotto machines.

Floyd Bartch, from the Gaming Commission, said that Mullally is a very cherished gaming regulator and that he’s responsible for several norms that are currently controlling the casino industry in the state.

As the CEO, Mullally administered an agency that had a $16 million budget and more than 200 employees. Mullally said he was leaving voluntarily and that he had had this plan for a long time. Nonetheless, the resignation has put on the table questions such as Matt Blunt’s plans to change the board members.
