Federer turned out to be the winner
Roger won the Basel tennis tournament
Roger Federer, the number one tennis player and the first pre classified, ended up crowned last Sunday as the champion of the ATP of Basel, in Switzerland. He got the honor and joy of being champion and receiving the prize in his own country, with his people happily cheering for him. In order to win the desired prize, he first had to beat the Chilean Fernando Gonzalez, who was the third favorite and managed to play a wonderful match. Federer won 6-3, 6-2, 7-6 (7-3).

Gonzalez was defending his title, although it was very little what he was able to do in front of an incredibly inspired Roger Federer, who had already beat him the previous Sunday, in the finals of the Madrid Tournament.

It was a very exciting game, both were determined to take the prize home with them, but unfortunately it was only one that could be able to fulfill that dream and it turned out to be Federer.
