The report also informed that there are over a million people working in this business in the province of Cadiz with the selling of illegal chance games. In the last four years, in Andalusia, the income from this activity reached 208 million euros. There were many denounces of associations that promote illegal betting and are legally constituted but have no authorization to sell prizes.
The delegate of ONCE said that, in order to finish the illegal gambling, it is necessary an immediate and effective answer of the Judicial Power and the administrations. “It’s the moment to go from the knowledge of the problem to an effective solution, the facts and the State to allow us to fight against the illegal gambling”, said Cáceres.
ONCE also published a report that revealed an important decrease of its income, of 10.5 percent in Spain and 6.5 in Andalusia, even though this first semester of the year, the balance is positive with a growth of 10.3 in the community.
