Bets could start raising in China
The end of the prohibition
After almost 60 years of prohibition, Chinese authorities could be willing to consider the recuperation of horse raising bets and gambling bets in general starting next year. Gambling has been prohibited in all Chinese territory since 1949, with the exception of Macau.

Apparently the government has allowed the regular celebration of horse races in the center of the country, more specifically in the province of Wuhan and, at the moment, authorities are considering the idea of permitting all kinds of gambling throughout the country.

According to the information available, horse raises will start to take place in September at the Orient Lucky City tracks. This fact is seen as a big step in the path to end the prohibition and start seeing the recuperation of gambling in China.

Before 1949, horse races gambling and gambling in general were considered as one of the main distractions to the Chinese.
