The German Justice sentenced a Casino to pay off two wives whose husbands had lost all their savings playing Slots.
The Court of Karlsruhe Judges, in Germany, listened carefully how the “gaming addicts” had written the Casino asking not to let them enter if they tried. However, and in spite of the warning, the Casino's security let these two men in and they lost almost 12.000 dollars playing Slots.
The owners of the WestSpiel Casino explained that they usually check the identity of the people who play Roulette or Blackjack but they don't do it with the Slots players.
After listening to both parties, Justice considered that the Casino could have made a better effort to stop these two gaming addicts, so it pronounced the sentence in favor of the two women. The amount of money to be paid hasn't been established yet.
